Raleigh General Hospital is the largest and most highly regarded medical facility in southern West Virginia and offers a wide range of medical services. Nearly 7000 surgeries are performed each year at Raleigh General and our Emergency Department, featuring the region’s only Level III trauma center, is the busiest single site Emergency Department in the entire state. Additionally, our Women’s and Children’s Center delivers more than 1600 babies every year. We provided more than $10,000,000 in uncompensated care in 2004 and are actively involved in a variety of charitable organizations.
